Chapter and Student Branch Chapters Start-up Grants 2024
Newly formed SMC Chapter and Student Branch Chapters can apply for the Start-up Grants within 12 months of the Chapter/Student Branch Chapter formation date.
In order to participate, the Chapter/Student Branch Chapter must report all the activities carried out (or planned to be carried out) in 2024, by filling the application form linked in the following.
For newly formed Chapters/Student Branch Chapters, indicate the event and activities that have been so far planned for the year 2024.

Chapter and Student Branch Chapters Initiative Grants 2024
The SMC Society provides funding to SMC Chapters and Student Branch Chapters aimed at supporting volunteerism and society involvement with the goal of broadening the participation of local environments in the society life.
In order to participate, the Chapter/Student Branch Chapter must report all the activities carried out (or planned to be carried out) in 2024, by filling the application form linked in the following.

Evaluation Criteria
The applications will be evaluated on the basis of the quality of the events the Chapters/Student Branch Chapters carried out, such as (but not limited to) workshops, seminars, projects, conference support activities, competitions, networking events.
The details on the procedure for obtaining the grants will be provided to the eligible Chapter / Student Branch Chapter, which will include the possibility for a direct fund transfer, along with the usual IEEE reimbursement procedure.
