2010 System Software Forum Organized by the IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST)

The IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) was founded in May 2007. Professor Shyi-Ming Chen is the Advisor of the IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter at NTUST. Our objective is to promote the networking and sharing of information and knowledge among students. We encourage students studying related subjects to enter the IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter at NTUST. It helps students to expand their world by getting in contact with new techniques and new equipment. Furthermore, we provide good opportunities for all members to communicate, discuss problems, as well as discover the joy and fulfillment in research. The 2010 System Software Forum was held in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology on December 6, 2010. It was financially supported by the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society and the IEEE Taipei Section. More than 80 people attended the 2010 System Software Forum. In the opening ceremony, Professor Shyi-Ming Chen (the Advisor of the IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter at NTUST) welcomed the people who attended the 2010 System Software Forum, showed the schedule of the 2010 System Software Forum and introduced the Keynote Speakers, Professor Huey-Ming Lee (Chinese Culture University) and Professor Albert B. Jeng (Jinwen University of Science and Technology). Then, Mr. Li-Wei Lee (the Chairman of the IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter at NTUST) introduced the IEEE and the IEEE SMC Society. Then, Professor Huey-Ming Lee gave his Keynote Speech entitled “Fuzzy Assessment for Sampling Survey Defuzzification by Signed Distance Method”. After the Keynote Speech of Professor Huey-Ming Lee, Professor Albert B. Jeng gave another Keynote Speech entitled “Cloud Computing Security Overview”. The 2010 System Software Forum was a very successful forum. The participants gained a lot in terms of knowledge and technology of system software.
