IEEE Central & South Italy Section Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Chapter

The IEEE Central & South Italy Section, Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Chapter has been formed on March 28th, 2005. Since it has newly born, by now it is co-organizing and sponsoring the following activities:

1. A technical talk at the Conference ANIPLA, Napoli, 23-24 November 2005, by Giorgio C. Buttazzo, Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Pavia, Italy.
2. A special session on Hybrid Petri nets, at the Conference on Analysis and Design of Hybrid Systems, Alghero, Sardinia, Italy - June 7 9, 2006.

The intermediate and long term aims of the Chapter are:

• Actively publicize this Chapter and IEEE, and recruit members, in particular, student members.
• Organize industrial oriented seminars and technical talks for the Chapter to promote the contacts with the industry.
